Tesla now offers swiveling main screen on Model S and Model X

Tesla has finally updated both the Model S and Model X with swiveling screens, we know the hardware has been installed in those cars for a while now but finally the software side of things has been updated. Here’s a video of the screen in action posted on Twitter:

Tesla has been putting a lot of effort and resources into the infotainment part of its cars, with recent updates giving the drivers large center screens, rear screens and powerful internal computers being not only able to play latest games but in some cases even being more powerful than dedicated gaming consoles.

The addition of the swiveling screen makes it possible to adjust towards the driver or away and towards the passenger, meaning it will be possible to watch movies while the vehicle is moving, something that until now was only possible with the car parked up.

This option is not available yet as far as we know but clearly this is something Tesla has been preparing for. Just to make sure - the power frunk is not offered by Tesla (as far as we can tell) and it's a modification made by the owner of the car in the video.
