BMW and Mini cars get Paramount+ streaming
BMW and Mini EV models with BMW or Mini Operating System 9 are getting Paramount+ in conjunction with BMW Digital Premium or the Mini Connected Package.
The streaming service is available in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, the US, and Switzerland. Paramount+ has a lot of blockbusters, new originals, and hit shows.
You will unsurprisingly only be able to watch Paramount+ movies and shows while your BMW or Mini is stationary. The content automatically switches off for safety reasons when the journey resumes. And, again unsurprisingly, you'll still have to pay for Paramount+, the cost of the service isn't included in BMW Digital Premium or Mini Connected Package.
To access Paramount+ you need to use the Video App (DTS AutoStage Video Service Powered by TiVo) in the latest infotainment systems of BMW and Mini. Alongside Paramount+, Pluto TV, Bloomberg, TED, Yahoo, and Chili are also available in the app, accompanied by market-specific streaming services.
