BYD launches ATTO 3 in Singapore
BYD has launched the ATTO 3 in Singapore. This is BYD's first SUV, based on its e-platform 3.0, and it's already on sale in a few countries.
It's known as the Yuan Plus in China and previously went on pre-sale as the ATTO 3 in Australia and Macau. Clearly that's the name BYD will use outside of China.
The BYD ATTO 3 is 4455mm long, 1875mm wide, 1615mm tall, and has a 2720mm wheelbase. The Singapore-bound model has a 201hp (150kW) motor with 310Nm of torque, powering the front wheels. It can launch the ATTO 3 from 0 to 100km/h in 7.3s.
The battery is a 60.5kWh BYD Blade unit, which has an NEDC range of up to 480km. Charging is 80kW CCS2 DC and 6.6kW Type 2 AC. In China, the Yuan Plus comes with a smaller 49.92kWh battery as well.
The BYD ATTO 3 starts at SGD 183,888, which is just north of USD130,000, due to the country prohibitive car tax system. For comparison in China it ranges from CNY 137,800 to CNY 165,800 ($20,500-$25,000), after government subsidies.
