Lotus refreshes Emeya and Eletre

Lotus continues its adventure in the world of electric cars with a recent update to both of its EVs, the Emeya sedan and the Eletre SUV. The automaker officially launched the refreshed models, which bring minor but meaningful changes to the exterior, interior, and a few key components.
The updated Lotus Eletre SUV keeps its bold design, staying consistent with the previous model. The most noticeable exterior change is the switch to black badges. The vehicle's size remains the same - 200.9 inches long, 79.5 inches wide, and 64.4 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 118.9 inches.

All Eletre trims now come with 22-inch 10-spoke grey forged wheels as standard, which adds a sporty look. The braking systems on the Eletre 600 and 600 SE use 6-piston fixed front calipers, and the top-of-the-line 900 model gets a high-performance 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking setup.
Inside the Eletre, the design carries over without major changes. Lotus enhanced the features list on various trims. The 600 and 600 SE models now include 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, along with a 15-speaker KEF Premium audio system.
The 600 SE adds extra luxury with a smart panoramic sunroof, 20-way adjustable front seats, a massage function for the front seats, and active rear-wheel steering. The flagship 900 model takes it up a notch with an intelligent anti-roll control system.

When it comes to power, the Eletre's options remain impressive. The 600 and 600 SE models use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, which delivers a combined output of 450 kW (603 hp) and 524 lb-ft of torque. These versions accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds. They draw power from a 112 kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 404 miles.
The most powerful Eletre 900 model has a more potent dual-motor setup, delivering 675 kW (905 hp) and 726 lb-ft of torque. This version, with its two-speed transmission, sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.95 seconds. It also uses a 112 kWh battery pack, offering a slightly lower CLTC range of 348 miles.

The Emeya sedan, like its SUV sibling, keeps its stunning exterior design mainly unchanged. Its dimensions are 202.3 inches long, 78.9 inches wide, and 57.6 inches tall, with a 120.8 inches wheelbase. All Emeya models now come standard with 21-inch 10-spoke grey forged wheels. The braking systems are similar to the Eletre; the 600 and 600 SE trims feature 6-piston fixed front calipers, while the 900 model is equipped with a 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system.
Inside, the Emeya keeps the 15.1-inch OLED central screen and a 55-inch augmented reality head-up display that shows drivers important information like road data, navigation, and assisted driving information right in front of them.
The powertrain options for the Emeya are also consistent. All models use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. The 600 and 600 SE versions generate 450 kW (603 hp) and 524 lb-ft of torque. They go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.15 seconds. These models are powered by a 102 kWh battery, providing a CLTC range of 364 miles.

The top-tier 900 model delivers 675 kW (905 hp) and 726 lb-ft of torque, which allows it to rocket from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.78 seconds. This version has a 102 kWh battery pack as well, with a CLTC range of 329 miles.
The pricing for these refreshed electric cars in the Chinese market is now available, starting at $74,800 for the Emeya 600 and $77,600 for the Eletre 600. Prices for other markets haven't been confirmed yet.
