Mercedes-Benz is teasing what it calls a future of electric vans with its upcoming Vision V. The concept is a preview of the next generation of the Vito and V-Class models. Set to launch in 2026, the Vision V promises a blend of luxury, space, and impressive electric performance - for a van.

Vision V is built on Mercedes-Benz's new and dedicated Van Electric Architecture (VAN.EA) platform. This platform will enable the company to produce a range of electric vans, from basic family haulers to high-end VIP shuttles. The company has teased the public with glimpses of the vehicle, showing a traditional van silhouette with modern design elements.

In terms of autonomous driving, the initial versions will feature Level 2 self-driving systems, with Level 3 and Level 4 capabilities to follow later.
