Swap to a "bigger" battery to increase energy (and range).
Swap to a "denser" technology.
Swap aging battery (like worn tires) to new battery to restore maximum capacity (and range).
Swap slow charging battery with a faster charging battery (to save time).
Swap to a safer technology (such as reducing fires).
Swap an initially inexpensive smaller battery to reduce entry price. (This presumes future battery prices drop).
And lastly, swap a discharged battery with a charged battery, yeah that too.
