That's the pressure from the competition in effect - from other PRC brands throwing their hat into the ring with competitive pricing and outstanding technology to legacy car brands finally offering something competitive outside of luxury/premium segment. BYD offerings started to seem stale and overpriced for what they offer. Take Atto 2 for example - a great new vehicle, but at that price one has other options with more range and features available. In the end though, BYD is here to stay, just a matter of time till they refresh their designs and pricing, trickle down Blade Mk.2 to cheaper vehicles...
