Peugeot E-408 and E-5008 confirmed for 2024 launch as E-3008 makes an official premiere
Peugeot will use the Zurich Motor Show to show its EV, the Peugeot E-3008, to the general public. From today to 5, 2023, visitors will get the chance to see the E-3008 in the flesh for the first time.
In an arguably more exciting development the company confirmed that in August 2024 we'll see the E-5008 join its smaller sibling. Sharing the same dedicated EV STLA Medium platform, the E-5008 will be larger and feature a more traditional roofline, which is to say it will have far more trunk space. The 98 kWh battery will also carry over to the larger model, although it will likely come short of the 700km WLTP rating of the E-3008.
And then in September 2024 Peugeot will unveil the E-408 will for a September release. That one is said to share its foundation with the E-308, so we should expect the far less exciting 156 hp front-wheel drive and 54 kWh battery pack.
The Peugeot E-3008 itself will be available for purchase in early 2024, with the production taking place at the Sochaux plant in France. Pricing will be announced later on. In Zurich it will have the E-208 as well as the E-2008 and E-308 keeping it company on the showfloor.
