Porsche teases new Taycan, here's the video
Porsche is currently working on a new Taycan, which should hit the market this spring. The company has been extensively testing the car - between the sedan, the Cross Turismo, and the Sport Turismo models, the new generation has put in some 2,237,000 miles on proving grounds, race tracks, and public roads across the world, with conditions ranging from -42°F north of the Finnish Arctic Circle to 127°F in California's Death Valley. Here's an official teaser video showcasing some of the testing:

Of the 2,237,000 miles of testing, 186,000 miles were in cold conditions and 124,000 miles in hot locations. In Finland, 217 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the new Taycan showed great driving dynamics on snow but also "convinced with almost halved charging times at colder temperatures". It also showed that it can handle frozen lakes and deep snow without a worry.
The updated Taycan is now in the final stages of testing, and Porsche promises the new generation will come with "extensive modifications" for all three versions (sedan, Cross Turismo, Sport Turismo).
Florian Stahl, Head of Taycan Testing, said:
At Porsche, electric cars must undergo the same rigorous testing programme as our combustion-engine sports cars. Alongside exceptional performance, a key requirement is uncompromising day-to-day usability under all climatic conditions. At its market launch in a few months, the substantially upgraded Taycan will have completed extensive worldwide tests in a total of 17 countries.

There is no doubt this will be the best driving EV on the market, but the question will remain - is the range acceptable this time + why not just buy Panamera, you clearly have the money to spare.
