Toyota bZ4X pricing revealed

The new 2023 Toyota bZ4X has gone live on the US website with full specifications and pricing information. Quick look confirms that the base XLE front wheel drive model will start at $42,000 and the Limited edition, front wheel drive as well, starts at $46,700. If you are hoping to get your hands on one of them you may have to be patient - Toyota warns the availability is extremely limited.

The specification page gives us some more details - range of the first full EV from Toyota is 252 miles according to EPA, it’s not bad but it’s not amazing either - less than Kia EV6 but more than Hyundai Ioniq 5. As with all US car sales you need to add “destination charges” to the quoted price which at the moment is $1,215. And then it’s a the dealer might adding some on top - judging by scarcity of this model, the actual prices paid by buyers will most likely be higher.

Noticeable omission on the new, dedicated web page is the lack of the yoke steering wheel that we saw during the official announcement. We went through all the photos and options in the configurator and it is nowhere to be seen. Toyota likely keeps this option for higher specification models - we won’t know until full range is available. It’s also possible that that option will be reserved for the new Lexus but at this point this is just a speculation.

For now you can check out the configurator at the link below, and if you find some more interesting facts do let us know in the comments below.
