VinFast is opening 50 stores in Europe
During the EVS35 - the world’s largest EV event - happening right now in Oslo, Norway - the Vietnamese automaker VinFast confirmed its commitment to the European market and announced it will open 50 new showrooms across Germany, France and the Netherlands.
VinFast is expanding at a truly unprecedented rate. The company only just announced it is entering Canadian and European markets with its VF8 and VF9 models and now it is following with a network of showrooms. VF8 and VF9 are medium-size and large SUVs with attractive prices and long range. On paper it sounds like a recipe for success and the company knows that it can be only as good as its customer service.
VinFast will begin the showroom rollout with 25 locations across Germany including Frankfurt, Berlin, Cologne, Oberhausen and Hamburg. 20 showrooms have been confirmed for France in Paris, Marseelle, Nantes, Nice, Montpellier, Aix en Provence and Metz. 5 more stores will be opened in the Netherlands, but the company hasn’t confirmed the locations yet.
VinFast is selling its cars with a battery subscription and to sweeten the deal for its European customers every car purchased before the end of September this year, will come with a complimentary year of VinFast Smart Driving with a Level 2+ ADAS and one year of Smart Services suite. The automaker is clearly focusing on the subscription model and it will be interesting to see if this business model takes off in Europe.
