2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze brings some extra punch
Ford Mustang Mach-E has been upsetting purists turning the iconic muscle car into an EV, but the newly launched Bronze Appearance Package might just make some of them warm up to the idea.
Available exclusively on the GT model, the Bronze Appearance Package comes with color accents in a golden brown hue that Ford calls Sinister Bronze. These accents include the 20-inch wheels, door name badges, and the rear GT badge. Paired with the Eruption Green body we see here in the photos, and the bronze grille, the Mustang Mach-E never looked better.
But it's not just about looks. Ford is also offering a performance upgrade for the 2024 model, making the quickest Mustang Mach-E from 0-60 mph to date. In its GT Performance Edition guise, this electric Mustang can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, putting it in the league of high-performance sports cars.
The Bronze Appearance Package is available on three color options: Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, and the hero color Eruption Green. The latter changes its hue under different lighting conditions.
For everyone opting for the 2024 GT variant, Ford is now including MagneRide adaptive damping as a standard feature. "Performance-focused components" include 385-millimeter front rotors with red Brembo calipers. Additionally, Ford Performance front seats with 10-way power adjustment for the driver come at no extra cost.
Ford has remained tight-lipped about any changes to the interior of the Bronze version. However, it's safe to assume that the cabin will feature the same Black Onyx upholstery found in the combustion-powered Mustang GT when equipped with this package.
The Mustang Mach-E GT AWD with Extended Range and the Bronze Appearance Package starts just a smidgen under $61,000. It's worth noting that the performance upgrade mentioned earlier may come with an additional cost, so potential buyers should keep an eye out for those details.
