Apollo reveals the G2J prototype with a focus on aerodynamics

Ro, 11 October 2022

German sports car maker Apollo has partially unveiled a concept sports EV codenamed G2J. The company has been developing the car for more than two years now and it feels confident to show off the design, at least. The press release also vaguely mentions something about future tech, which is going to be used in Apollo's future vehicles.

The prototype itself consists of various composite materials, including carbon fiber for a lightweight chassis and excellent aerodynamics. The preview, however, is rather limited and it doesn't go beyond a couple of images of the prototype. Apollo is still silent on the powertrain, battery and performance figures as it's still fine-tuning things and it's not ready to publish detailed specs.

Apollo also outlines that the car's design isn't indicative of future Apollo-branded vehicles and it's only a hint of what's to come. We should learn more when the official unveiling comes sometime later this year.

Aerodynamic EV with cockpit made for a driver, full of buttons, huge front glass, small pillars ... what is this? Something designed with an actual effort? So weird to see these days :)
