BMW shares first details about its upcoming i7
In a short blogpost, BMW shared a couple of key specs and features about its upcoming luxury i7 sedan, which is, the electric version of the BMW 7 series. The shared images suggest that BMW is staying true to its roots but the post also suggests that some design details have been reworked and modernized. The oval-shaped headlights, for example, seem to be replaced with aggressive-looking strips.
The sedan is said to have a combined power consumption of 18.9-19.7 kWh/100 km. The WLTP range should vary between 580km and 610km.
As part of the next-generation iDrive operating system, My Modes will allow the driver to adjust almost every aspect of the driving experience, including the ambient light. There's also going to be a curved display and a new function strip placed on the instrument panel.
BMW has hanged a 31-inch 32:9 8K display from the so-called Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof so that the passengers in the back can get some excellent multimedia experience on the road.

I seriously can't get behind the BMW's new front grille design. I understand the cooling benefits, but ugh... Every time I see it, my initial reaction is that it looks like a mock up of BMW's design
