Huawei showcases the luxurious interior of the Maextro S800
Huawei and JAC (Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group) have together created the very high-end Maextro brand, and its first car, the S800, was first unveiled in November. Since then, we've seen official photos in January, and even a crab walk.
Now the brand is finally ready to show us inside. Maextro has published official images of the car's interior, and it's as luxurious-looking as you'd expect from the roughly CNY 1 million ($137,000) price point.
The S800 will be fully launched at the end of May, according to Huawei's Richard Yu. The car only has four seats despite being huge, which should tell you how important comfort is.
There are three connected screens in the dash, the roof has a star effect, and everything looks like it's plush and quality.
The S800 is a whopping 215.7 inches long, 79 inches wide, and 60.5 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 132.7 inches. It will use a battery that will allegedly go from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes in the fully electric model.
There's also going to be an EREV option which will have a 65 kWh battery with 800V architecture. This will charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes.
