Lucid Gravity orders open on November 7, here are the prices
Lucid's first SUV, the Gravity, made its official debut almost a year ago, and now the company is finally ready to take people's money for it. Almost. Orders will open on November 7 at 9 AM Pacific Time for the Grand Touring trim, which will start at $94,900 offering "more than 800 horsepower and a projected range surpassing 440 miles", Lucid's press release on the matter says.
The Gravity Grand Touring production will begin in late 2024. Then, in late 2025, Lucid will also start producing the Touring trim, which will start at $79,900. It's unclear when you'll be able to order one of those, however.
Note that orders will start on November 7 in the US only. Current Lucid vehicle owners will be given priority for taking delivery of their Gravity. The ordering process will be fully online through Lucid's website.
Peter Rawlinson, Lucid CEO, said:
There is a growing anticipation for Lucid Gravity's unprecedented combination of versatility, performance, design, and all-around capability. This is uniquely enabled through our revolutionary technology. We look forward to bringing the world's most advanced SUV to the world soon.
The Gravity has space for seven adults "plus all their gear", offering up to 120 ft³ of total usable cargo space, including the frunk. Speaking of which, an optional frunk seat can be fitted while parked to accommodate two adults. Lucid promises a battery pack capacity "similar to that of the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring", which comes with 112 kWh nominal capacity. There will also be an optional three-chamber air suspension.

Greater range than all of them. Also, greater efficiency than all of them too. Shame we on Britain are getting them for a while.

The highest-end model costs as much as the dual motor Rivian Max, which is quite unexpected.

Lucid is the Porsche of the EVs. Grossly overpriced.
