Lucid's delayed Cosmos smiles for the camera on the roads of California
Lucid delayed its Cosmos a few months ago. It was supposed to come out this year, but now it's pushed back to 2027. Despite the delay, testing is still underway, as indicated by the images you can see below, which show a Cosmos prototype on the streets of California, wearing a hefty amount of camouflage.

The Cosmos should be priced at under $50,000. It will be made using Lucid's 800V architecture. Acceleration is targeted at under 3.5 seconds to go from zero to 60 mph, and the charging target is currently set at over 200 miles added in 14 minutes.
The Cosmos is now intended to enter mass production in the second half of 2027. It's still unclear when the company aims to start deliveries.
