Volkswagen expects the chip shortage to end this year

The fallout from the global Covid pandemic has left all manufacturers scrambling for limited supplies of processors. No modern car could exist without a few of them and with supply shortages abound it meant long production delays and even longer customer waiting lists. VW claims this is coming to an end.
