140kWh 1,000km CATL’s Qilin battery enters mass production

CATL’s CTP 3.0 Qilin battery is already being manufactured at a mass scale with the first vehicles equipped with it to be delivered to customers within a couple of months.

I bought a Toyota BZ4X and I was about to purchase a Skoda superb not trusting Toyota or any EV car.

This new battery seems fantastic and I am very interested, please advise which car manufacturers are going to use this battery pack.

Well and Samsung or Apple or Sony phones takes hours to charge and EV car which have battery enough to power 100 cell phones easily can charge in 10 minutes.

What I would like to know are the dimensions of the pack.. not only the kwh / weight ratio and the price for the pack.

When humanity invents something groundbreaking like this, it would be an occasion to celebrate for everyone. But as a fellow Asian, this is just bad news for us, knowing somehow this tech would be used to bu!!y all the neighbours in the South ¢hina sea by the tech's creator...sigh

Woah ! This is a great achievement if we see vehicles with this battery on roads, specially the 0-80% charge in 10 mins claim. What were LG, Panasonic & Samsung SDI doing all these years..
