"If only they were cheaper to buy."
There are much more issues with current EVs than the price - most of them are still badly designed leading to worse alternatives in terms of driving, comfort, packaging, weight, size, cooling, heating etc.
Range and charging topics are, compared to other problems, much more manageable and less irritating.

I don't really care what type of powertrain will my next car use, but it better be better in every way than my current solution.

That said, that does not mean I don't have a heap of issues with ICE/hybrid cars made by VW, Škoda, Ford, Volvo and many many others.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2023I honestly can't see battery-powered EVs as the future, especially when it comes to long-... moredude.. usable forms of hydrogen gas first need to be produced. it's not like you can just pull it from the air. meanwhile the sun will shine longer than humans will ever exist and the wind will blow for a very long time too, let alone the heat of the earth's core that won't get cold and water currants that will flow for at least as long as the wind blows. get your logic straight.

I honestly can't see battery-powered EVs as the future, especially when it comes to long-term sustainability. Hydrogen fuel cell makes a lot of sense since the element never runs out and it can perfectly emulate the normal everyday use of petrol and diesel.
