Tesla sued by owners claiming software update wiped batteries

The plaintiffs in a new suit allege that this was done on purpose by the company.

Would like to see someone's evidence of this.
I mean there's two possibilities here,
(1) Owners are just trying to get a free new battery.
or
!2) There is an issue and batteries are being nerfed or bricked. Which seems to make more sense seeing as that 20% figure was brought up and people allegedly saw results from a software rollback.
