1. Electric for daily commute but gas for longer trips.
2. They are cheaper than electric in most cases.
3. Less range anxiety when operating fully electric.
4. The cost of the battery is less due to it being smaller.
5. Using both technologies at their best efficiency. Slow speeds electric and high speeds gas.
6. Faster charging for the electric range due to smaller capacity of the battery.
Etc.
The list can go on.

For the time being I will stick to my regular car. And down the road switch to hybrid when that day comes.

Don't lie. EVs are useless in cold climate and highway speeds. I have Tesla 3, theory 438km, real life winter (Germany) and highway is ~190km. It's acceptable ONLY as a second car to drive to work, not as a primary car. And charging cost is higher than driving 3 liter diesel LOL 0.52euro/kwh*25=13euro/100km. Diesel would be 12 euro !!!

EV does not work in cold climate and if you want to drive at decent speed in highways. It's crap when you loose like 50% of range. C02 psychosis is total brain fck, this gas can be absorbed by trees, the more c02 the faster growth of plants, because this gas is gas of life, brain fcks lie you about some kind climate change because of that gas. Climate changing constantly, because of many factors. If someone has psychosis about c02 gas the only real solution is trees and prevention of total destruction of forest's, but no, they brag only about gas gas emissions. It's total bull crap!!!!!

Once the battery degrades and need a replacement then you'll say the same i guess? For me ICE is good, i love my motorcycle.. I've changed 3 motorcycles in 4 years. Loved all of them. ICE is better.. Just need to develop pollution filter so that it is not harmful for environment. Hybrid system is a better solution.

Saved countless $ not buying petrol. Will never have another ICE car. My friends who hated EV's are now converts. All it took was driving one and doing the math.

I think that hybrid diesel cars are the best from cost efficiency and for the pocket .
