Anonymous, 23 Jun 2023WTF?? I heard this will be 50-60k which was an ok deal.. I can get a Rivian R1s for 90k. Why w... moreI guess they were referring to the GT model, though 110 still seems ridiculous. This article is full of errors though. Base price Lyriq starts at 58 not 62 and the EV9 should hopefully be starting around 60k once they start building them stateside, but to mention some level of tax credit eligible.

Wrong pricing. At least check official pricing in kia's websites in Korea, Netherlands & Sweden.

GT line AWD will be 75k in USA
RWD long range will be between 63 and 65K
AWD long range will be between 67 and 69K

This makes the dual motor Rivian R1S look like a bargain at $79K. You get more horsepower, more torque, more range and actual off-road chops.

Why don’t you mention anything about the Rivian R1S?! I paid $75,000 for the launch edition, which seats 7, has a quad motor with over 800 horse power, etc.

Hey ArenaEV Team,

When you do an article on the prices of EVs, can you please also add some sort of a table with the prices?
After reading the article I only understood that is not cheap. You can still do your twisted wording in the text but please add also some structure and put a table or a link to a table.

Thank you.

I make low six figure income and I'm not about to make a $1200+ monthly payments. Half of my mortgage? Don't think so. I'll stick to my Ford F-250 I guess as the EV market doesn't like to cater to middle class. Screw these EV makers coming out with cars that cost $70k-90k. I've always said if they make an EV under $30k that gets 300+ miles people will be beating down the door to get one. People WANT to go greener just don't want to blow ridiculous amount of green to get one. Half a house mortgage? They are smoking crack, lad and weed and the same time.

What about the Rivian RS1? Is similar price, 7 seater and I think faster, etc.

When are Ev manufacturers going to learn. They keep making cars for rich people. Instead of the Middle class. Take a hint, look at lucid air, look at rivian, and Tesla model X and model S are not selling like hot cakes either. You know what is the Chevy bolt and the Tesla model 3. Wise up idiots!!!.

Really wish they would prioritize smaller more affordable EVs for the market
