Nissan Leaf Shiro is the new, cheapest electric Nissan

Nissan UK unveiled a new trim level for its aging Leaf EV - new standard equipment, exclusive paint combo and a lower price. Is that enough to keep the Leaf alive?

$24k is about as high as I'm willing to pay for this new, $12-14k second hand.

Seems like a great car that all that it's missing is a 2 to 3 cyl, 1 liter engine in the frunk.

Those of us in the United States can still order the Chevy bolt until mid August. The Chevy bolt is still cheaper than the Nissan leaf due to the federal rebate and with a longer range. The Tesla model 3 starts at $38,000 before the federal rebate. Not sure what Nissan is thinking on the leaf, why still offer it when you can just lower the price of the Aria since it doesn't qualify for the federal rebate. Although the leasing loophole will lower the price of the leaf and Aria as well as kia and Hyundai EVs
