It is no surprise that with the amount of data collected and processed, the flaws will start to be much more noticeable.
No one bets an eye when something like Fabia has an infotainment hiccup, every user is bothered when they want to control AC via touchscreen on their ID.4 and the screens starts to bug out, freeze or stutter.
Users data not being safe is just an icing on the cake.

With the help of sensors, microphones, cameras and the connected mobile phone, car manufacturers can build an almost complete picture of the car owner's privacy. A lot of data is also collected using the car's mobile app and the manufacturer's websites - data that can then be sold or shared with third parties.

The Polestar 4 will not run Android Automotive in China or at least not with Google Automotive Services. The Google play store doesn't exist in Çhina, so it makes no sense to ship a product with it.

It's like having the car as a large Desktop Mode external screen. Remember ASUS Padfone where the phone seamlessly going into tablet when docked inside the Docking Station tablet? It's a similar thing here.
