One good point is Xiaomi is using own brand, and not creating new brand. Many Chinese automakers are creating new brands, in case new brand fails and goes bankrupt, the parent automaker doesn't have to accept warranty claims.

mi is an electronics brand.it take much more to produce something mechanical that carries people.producing,delivering and maintaining are really big problems. they may have a chance in China,though.

I'm not sure if Xiaomi can make a big jump in the EV market, considering the competition. Xiaomi may have a loyal fan base in China and some other markets, but it still faces challenges in expanding it's global brand recognition.

Have only 2 questions.
First how much it takes to charge from flat battery to full.
And second question will it be available in global for a world vide market???
I am from Slovakia which is small country within EU but i am definitely interested.
Maybe i will buy one because looks great as tesla is way cheaper and Xiaomi is quality unlike some others like Apple for example which is also china made but for US pricing and with a faux quality.
For example famous apple shapphire screen lenses which were nothing but ordinary glass.
Or said Titanium which is nothing but a mix of alluminium mostly some steel and like 3-5% of titanium.
Etc.
