BMW's color-changing i5 Flow NOSTOKANA blends art and tech, but is raises more questions than answers about real-world use of this flashy feature.

Fearghast, 05 Mar 2024Cars like CH-R, AygoX have red base colour, black cladding, black roof, the whole back side is... morewell...I never heard any of these cars' owners being pulled over due to factory vinyl. another example, I had a mini cooper s. that car had red base color, piano black roof and black&white stripes on the hood. no police gave a ticket since these were factory accessories. one of my friends had a grey porsche fully wrapped in green and he updated his registration for that aftermarket application.

but it is a gimmick.
this COULD and this could be useful in some cases for official cars like police, firefighters, ambulance.
for a normal Joe like you and I, they will never allow it. it's not the distracting other drivers part. there's a reason that the color of your car is printed in your car papers and if u add a single strip on your car police will stop you and fck you up.
