Rather dissapointing results. EV cars are not gonna "fly" if they continue this trend. Sky high prices, with ridiculus range affected too much by weather / load / degradation over time and too much fragile with exorbitand costs for repairing. And no, a lower price wouldn't fix the actual problem.

I am a big fan of EVs, but if I was to buy a new car, I would go for a hybrid or a plug in hybrid. I don't care much about all the new gizmos, screens and all. But I do care having at least 450km of range no matter the time of year or if 5 - 10 years have passed.

Honest, 24 Mar 2024Way unrealistic ranges. In reality 30 percent lower.TBH, Volvos EX30 efficiency is fairly low, but not as low as a lot of competition.
I would believe, in this case, you would be able to hit at least 350 km of range in a realistic mix of driving conditions.
In non highway conditions, 400+ km sounds fairly reasonable.

Way unrealistic ranges. In reality 30 percent lower.

When you factor in real life conditions like passengers, air conditioning, cold weather, that range can drop significantly—maybe by 80/100 km. And let's be honest, the charging situation in the Europe still pretty poor.

Volvo, you're on fire!
