China takes on US over EV subsidies

China has taken its fight over EV subsidies to the global stage, officially challenging the US Inflation Reduction Act at the World Trade Organization.

"China has long been a frontrunner in the electric car race, thanks in part to government support." - Exactly. There's a reason why they grew they way they did, with their government's support. Now, the US wants to do the same with those who produce domestically, so I don't understand China's issue. They want to have it both ways. They want their government to subsidize their own market, but not allow the US to subsidize it's own.
