The introduction of the PHEV model is a great idea as that'll make it a wagon that's practical and cheap to run within the city and also for longer distances (provided you have charging available at home/ apartment). If it can function as a normal traction hybrid (prius-like) even when the battery charge drains , then even better.

As for the fully electric models, I'm not so sure. For heavier and bigger the electric vehicle is, less practical it becomes due to prolonged charging times (as they increase the battery capacity to increase the range which then leads to even more weight and so on...)
