They are not mass produced yet and it'll be a few years before they scale up. There are also safety considerations with them, that may be different (probably was stricter) in EU than in China.

EU doesn't have any mass production semi/solid state packs.
Current EU battery tech is outdated. Remember Elon's quote about production vs design.

If they can't make solid state batteries at the plant, why don't they make semi solid state batteries?
