Unfortunately it is nothing like the originally anticipated 2 tone photo back in 2019 with the surfboard on top. That one I would totally go for but not this. Hybrid would be better.

I believe this will become outdated; we require fresh innovations in electric vehicles, and the Cybertruck isn't the answer.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2024No range estimates??They've been published already, but don't remember. I *think* the bigger battery dual motor was about 320-350 and the small battery single motor was about 250-280. Not really sure though.

bamey, 01 Jul 2024$50k starting price? Not in the spirit of the old affordable microbus. And, VW has said "... moreVery troubling considering when originally announced it was to cost under $40k. No way I'm ever buying an electric if they don't lower prices about $15k across the board. It's ridiculous.

$50k starting price? Not in the spirit of the old affordable microbus. And, VW has said "It's coming soon" for months now. Soon when? And... how much will those tires be to replace, and how long will they last. Tires are going to be the nimber one issue with EVs... 20-30,000 miles and most cost over $200 each. No oil changes, but...!

Not many rivals in this category, at least it isn't yet another boring SUV.

Not just for the big spenders, there's a cheaper version with a smaller battery coming too, making electric more affordable for everyone.
