Citroen e-C3 gets delayed by software bugs, Peugeot e-3008 by powertrain issues

My eC3 was ordered by the dealer in June 2024, and delivery was expected in November. Before Christmas I was told it was on its way to the dealer. Told last week that all deliveries have been suspended due to a software problem.
Told this week that the problem will be cured by a dealer fix during the PDI, and deliveries have restarted.
I am getting cold feet about this car and hope that it isn’t going to need constant updates as with my previous VW id3.
