EU is only 4.4% bigger than China in nominal GDP and in PPP GDP they are 24.5% smaller, workforce is also ~3.5x bigger in China.
There can hardly be a victory let alone a flawless victory.
Even if there is some deal and EU will say It's a big victory, It won't be.

They come up with extra tariffs, vote and pass It and then they are trying to find an alternative to them, so there won't be a trade war with China.
EU politicians are brainless fools, with them at the helm no wonder Europe loses their importance, yet we could have been the third superpower besides US and China.
