Europe has higher import tariffs on American goods than vice-versa. Europe never pays their fair share for defense. Europe uses American wealth to keep itself afloat.

I am willing to bet 1000€ that Xiaomi will be on the list of sanctioned companies before 2030. Western countries have no way of competing in technology in the next few decades (USA is an exception, but only in some fields eg. AI).

YU7 should be interesting. If Xiaomi can get 2nd factory running and ramping up anywhere near what they did last year, its going to make it tough for Tesla in China. While the "foreign" brands provides some equity to Tesla, Xioami is everywhere from phones to home automation etc all controlled via their vehicles. I could see that selling 20K per month by end of this year.

USA is already a global imperium and is basically run by oligarch or oligarchic families in the shadows.
US companies are already doing business in the whole world, so I don't know what change you expect will happen with Trump.
Ok, products made on american soil will be a priority, but that's something Biden's administration was also actively working on.
Trump can't really force other countries to buy only US products or made for(by) US companies.

And China is even stronger now.

So here's the thing. When Tesla's first came out, their minimal interiors were interesting and actually eye-catching because they were so different. In 2025, IMO, they look cheap. Xiaomi and the SU7 is a sharp looking car that obviously got a lot of it's external looks from Porsche which is a great thing.

The interior of the SU7 looks great and has a digital speedo Infront of the driver and lots of physical buttons to use. Tesla being so reliant on 99% of the cars functionality being routed through the touchscreen is nutty and IMO dangerous for someone who should be watching the road. Xiaomi actually has an attachment you can purchase that magnetically attaching to the button of the center touchscreen, to give the car tons of physical button for climate and such.

If the SU7 could be sold in the US, I don't see why anyone would buy a Tesla.

With China car freely roaming in China & Arabs world, Italian car will surely have a hard time.
Even a 20% decline for the Italian will crush their profit & production

Well when comes to economy or technology and way of possible possibilities xiaomi is many years ahead from all competitors.
Well done xiaomi.
Soon they will be more valuable than shitty apple.
