Tesla Robotaxi arrives with a chaperone in the front seat

Tesla is launching its highly anticipated Robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, but early rides in the Model Y electric cars will include a human "safety monitor" in the passenger seat.

If you are using US-source information, then at least take the time and change the PM & AM to a more common used 24-hour format or provide both. The "escort" driver is probably there, as to satisfy some federal regulation, as the FSD is fully capable of autonomous driving without driver interventions - this was already successfully demonstrated many times.

So we don't have an Optimus robot in the car. Another tricky name for the product!
