For me it's always quite funny so see people think of startups as novices, in this case here as "a startup with no previous history or knowledge of producing cars" even though their key personnel is actually very experienced in the industry. For example, Lucid Air's main aerodynamicist was Jean-Charles Monnet who had previously worked with Red Bull's F1 car, and Lucid's former CTO and CEO (in charge during Air's development) Peter Rawlinson has previously been on Jaguar, Lotus (chief engineer) and Tesla.

I am surprised the Nio ET9 is not listed as the Air's number one competitor, because it is as executive sedan as any car can be. The Model S is a poor relative next to the Lucid to be considered a competitor.

This car looks like a Dubai taxi but damn I wish I could experience it firsthand to see if it is as good as everybody makes it out to be!

Who are the morons who stole legroom for the Lucid extended battery? Reminds me of my friend's Miata that has a subwoofer in the passenger footwell which prevents stretching out. Please put those people on a leash and tag the training data so AI does not repeat such blatant afterthought mistakes.
