Then one day, they threatened the customers who pre-ordered the car that either they pay full amount now OR xiaomi will cancel their preorder and customers will lose the money they paid for preorder.
Now, this is not capitalism, it's pure scam. If xiaomi initially would have asked for full price, they wouldn't have got this many orders.
It was a SCAM and xiaomi pulled it successfully.

Why wouldn't it?
Xiaomi trapped their YU7 preorder customers. Customers have been given only 2 choices.
1. pay the full price upfront for a car that will be handed over after 2 yrs.
2. refuse to pay and forget about the pre-order money and xiaomi will cancel the order.

Shady business, as always.

Honor Magic 5 Pro was the first phone in the world to use a SiC battery. I bet the first EV to use next-gen ProLogium batteries (5% to 60% in 5min) will be a chinese company maybe even Xiaomi.

Smallworld, 19 Aug 2025So can they stop putting ads on their phones now that they've found a new cashcow? You can pretty easily deactivate them. If you are a bit smarter you can even uninstall the unwanted Apps like I did. If you are not then your only option is b*tch*ng on forums.
