They were pretty much extinct, and they are going back with EVs that takes a bit of time to charge and have big screens that are pretty much idle during charging.
I would personally never use this feature and would not pay for it if it was not included in the car, but the PR department clearly thinks there is a market for this.
Edit: Porche not having to do recalls due to battery fire would be much more appreciated than being able to play some mobile game on an infotainment screen.
Good thing they gave up on developing their own batteries in future :-D

"One of the most welcome additions for any parent out there is the introduction of the AirConsole gaming platform"
Only for the bad parents
This is contraproductive to the development of the child
And besides that this has no place in a car, you are driving a heavy machine with wich you can easily kill people, there is no need for entertainment, watch the road. When stopping for gas clear your mind from the drive
What dumbasses come up with this stuff?

I tried one in a Porsche brand store. It was the Macan Turbo for 150000€. I have never seen such a cheap plastic interior with whobbling ventilation buttons, giant screens and rather small seats. 20 years ago, you would get a full leather interior with all the extra features for this money.
