Renault is offering early access to its new, affordable Twingo E-Tech electric with a special "Twingo R Pass" program that lets buyers order the car before its official public debut.

New (in Germany) with corresponding specs between 18,000 and 19,000 Euro. That's almost 23,000 Euro for which you can buy a new Octavia. But then again, are 5,000 EUR "almost"? That depends on everyones pocket i guess. Smaller cars have always been a bad deal if it comes down to how much car you get for your money. And that is independent of the drivetrain.
