Herbert Diess, CEO of VW Group loses job over software fiasco

The CEO of Volkswagen was blamed for delays in launching new models by Porsche, Audi, Bentley and VW and as a result he was replaced by CEO of Porsche.

VW is big, and fat, and all of its brands show poor reliability relative to their prices. Massive state ownership doesn't help innovation, but it helps market share.

For the sake of consumers, I hope Tesla's new Berlin factory helps break VW's dominance of the European market.
