Ford pulls the plug on the F-150 Lightning and goes into grid battery business

Ford has stopped production of the all-electric F-150 Lightning and will instead focus on a plug-in hybrid version, smaller EVs, and a profitable new battery energy storage business.

Large truck probably wasn't a good segment to try and pull people into EV's, especially those who actually haul and tow things.

Also, fuel prices are very low right now in the US, further making EV's less attractive. Where I'm at, it's $2.20 per gallon. Super cheap.
