Nvidia wants cars to think like humans and Mercedes is first to try

Nvidia has revealed a new open-source AI model that allows vehicles to explain their driving decisions, debuting first in the Mercedes-Benz CLA in early 2026.

Looks interesting and promising but would never ever allow my car to drive on its own no matter what.

The Only thing that I wanted in my Future Car is a Longer Mileage. Comfortable Seat. A Big Navigation Display. Takes less than 15 Minutes to Fully Fueled. Brighter Headlights. 360° Camera. A better cargo capacity. A Better Audio Sounds and is THEFT PROOF. I don't want an AI on my CAR.
