I visited the pop up they had in the San Diego Westfield UTC mall, and the demo was the equivalent of an untested software demo on stage. They spent a lot of money on the showcase and not enough making the experience good. The volume was broken and super loud, nothing really worked, and this is before focusing on the fact that the car itself is one of the most unexciting sheet metal designs I've seen in a while. If the proposed price was low like a Slate truck, someone would buy it - but for Lucid money I doubt anyone would have gone for it. I'm surprised it took them this long to give up.

Probably one of the most boring EVs I have seen yet. Good thing they cut their losses
