Do I think electric is a cool concept. Yes. Are they read for market, no. People want cheap gas because it's all they have to get to work or school or see family. Normal cars are cheaper to purchase and can last many times longer than a battery electric car. And is some cases a tesla puts out more toxins in its lifetime than its normal gas counterpart. You can get upset all you want about the environment but when there are products that use fuel to generate CO2 for farmers to yield larger crops then I will say I'm not quite as worried about CO2 production. But I think it needs to be spread out. Not all focused in China where smog kills its citizens. There needs to be a balance.

Not to mention, they are far more expensive to repair and require lots of weather conditions for optimal mileage.
Our planet is not dying because WE are the bad ones, it is because these manufacturers gave us no better option up until now. Oh wait, these EVs are sky-high in prices. Not to mention, in order for an of this to be effective; we need a clean sustainable electricity generating system first.

I will feel a lot safer the day ALL cars are driven autonomously without any driver, and the cars constantly communicate with each other so that they all know everyone's intentions. Human drivers are far too dangerous, but the mixture of both autonomous cars and cars with human drivers on the roads is probably the most dangerous!
Cars must become irrelevant toys for extremely few, just as horse and carriage are today, because busses and trains are the only environmentally acceptable alternatives! Local busses and trains within larger cities must be fully financed by the taxpayers, everyone together, and long distance trains must always be far cheaper than airplanes, to make everyone abandon the use of planet murdering cars! Not even electric cars can compete environmentally with electrical busses and trains!
The use of planet murdering fossil fuels must all be immediately completely illegal!
Stop complaining about too high gas, fossil fuels, prices, life on Earth is literally dying because of our/YOUR use of fossil fuels and the ONLY solution is too immediately make ALL use of ALL fossil fuels illegal! Gasoline/petrol prices are far too LOW as long as anyone can afford to use them!

Well to be honest hope Huawei wins this award and not someone else not Apple r Tesla they dont deserve this.
