Porsche Taycan Turbo GT sets a blistering new record for electric cars

Porsche has reclaimed the electric vehicle crown at the Nürburgring, using a high-tech Manthey Kit to help the Taycan Turbo GT lap the famous track in less than seven minutes.

Actual race cars are probably not much lighter than 2.2 Tons.
And yes, you can buy this exact car which to me makes all the difference to other contenders. And the beauty of it all is that Porsche is not doing this to prove but because they simply can. They can combine racetrack performance into a daily driver.
