Stuff like this and the fear of lawsuits is why Chinese car manufacturers are not exporting cars to the US. A bunch of patents expired in 2021-22 so they are moving into the EU though. China still claims a developing nation status in order to exploit intellectual property and trade loopholes, but it's really the West's fault that it turns a blind eye to it.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2022Imagine justifying stealing codes for profit just to defend your favorite phone companyWhat codes? Please, do tell which ones they "stole"? FreeBSD that's open source in the first place?
And I couldn't care less about Apple. I'm speaking more of justification of stealing in general, so it can apply to anywhere.

I call this a very very dumb engineer, making so many mistakes and not able to cover his own tracks! And hold hell, he even used Airdrop to make copies of the files!!! Is he really an engineer or is he a clown? Does Apple hire clowns nowadays..... no wonder their quality has gone downhill since Steve Jobs.

Interesting fact: one of NSAs core missions since its beginning is "technology retrieval", a stylish phrase for espionage and intellectual theft.
USA makes a lot of accusations about theft, all while their own government agencies have done it for over five decades.
Hypocrisy and dishonesty.

Prison for stealing trade secrets, from a company that made a trillion dollars off the work of free and open source software. They couldn't even donate to OpenBSD, a project from which they "lift" code, when OpenBSD couldn't keep the lights on.
The corruption is amazing. But I guess the TSP/C-fund/S&P is higher thanks to Apple, and everybody's retirement gets the equivalent to an extra happy meal every month so nobody wants to call them out for it.

Well at first i am not believe to such lies with no proof like when US step foot on Huawei for no valid reason.
And at second why he would refuse i mean pleaded he is not guilty and then he said something else.
Bet like with Huawei US forced him to agree it was him even there wasnt any actual proof.
But Hey its hell US called a Democracy. This looks more Feudal ruling than Democracy.
