Xiaomi is brave and bold and i definitely like that.

Carol-, 07 Sep 2026So, they literally said, “We’ll change your car to deal with depreciation across the market.” ... moreWell i believe into their warranty and why to buy second hand. Compared to most competition Xiaomi giives prices others cant.
If i ever wanted to buy a second hand car would buy something much cheaper for example up to 3 000 euros.
So i believe into xiaomi bold claims. For me they did something noone else is willing to do.
Its like Fairphone rband gave 5 years of warranty to their whole product. Many much more expensive phone brands barely gives one year or two if you live within EU.
In other words paying 2500 for fold 8 ultra or 3000 for upcoming apple foldable and having only one laughable year of warranty is disgusting and nuts.

Anyone worried about “exploding” electric cars needs a reality check — that's literally how “normal” car engines work, by deriving their energy by combusting petrol. There are literally thousands of controlled explosions taking place every minute, just a few centimetres in front of your feet. Again, “normal” have large fuel tanks of EXTREMELY COMBUSTIBLE petrol right next to you.

If anything, electric cars are SIGNIFICANTLY safer because they are propelled by basic motors which don't require any combustion. Yes, batteries can explode, but every single device that has a battery is susceptible to this. Your smartphone, which you carry around with you everywhere & even sleep right next to, is fully capable of exploding & killing you, or worse, damaging you irreparably. It doesn't even come with or have the stringent safety measures these EV batteries do, nor does it contain a shell strong enough to contain the explosion(which these EVs do).

So, they literally said, “We’ll change your car to deal with depreciation across the market.” And then, in the same breath, admitted that the car will still depreciate because nobody will want to buy it from you, since the next owner gets no benefit from their “depreciation” strategy. 🤦🏻‍♂️

On top of that, you’re locked into a subscription that tracks you 24/7. Honestly, anyone who buys this car gets exactly what they deserve.
