BYD is taking aim at Rolls-Royce and Maybach with the Yangwang Altior, an ultra-luxury electric flagship set to debut in Dubai with coach doors, quad-motors, and an expected {{$300,000}} price tag.

Middle East rich buyers don't mind high prices, in the earrly 2000 years in Geneva, i was in a Mercedes show presenting the new class S models and i followed a conversation betxeen a well suited Mercedes vendor and an arab client wearing a keffieh and the topic went to prices, As the vendor announcef a top price of 200 000 $, the arab laughed loudly saying 'I don't buy cheap cars!'
