Geely CEO wants company to deliver smartphone with satellite service support

Eric Li, Chairman of Geely, set up a new company, Xingji Technology, which will offer direct connection between smartphones and LEO satellites.

Two way satellite communication , even for LEO satellites it's still quite bulky and still very energy demanding (relatively to a modern smartphone) .
